Horn Torus
Spheres turning around a point
Turn each circle of the Torus Yantra into a sphere. Every sphere touches the centre, and together they carve a torus whose hole has shrunk to a single point: the horn torus.
- Hole
- 0
- Tube = ring
- r = R
Turn it in your hands, strike it to hear the chord of its edges, slice it with a plane or lift it into four dimensions.
Facts
- From above, the spheres’ equators are exactly the Torus Yantra.
- The envelope of the spheres is a horn torus: tube radius equals ring radius.
- Everything flows out of the centre and returns to it.
Across the dimensions
- Lifts into Clifford TorusIn four dimensions a torus can be perfectly flat: the Clifford torus.
- Its slice Torus YantraEvery circle is the equator of a sphere through the centre; together they carve a horn torus.
