Lesson 17 of 20 · 5 moves
The Pentagram
Join every second corner to draw the star.
The Pythagoreans wore the pentagram as their secret sign and called it Hygieia, health. Drawn in one unbroken line, it returns to where it began.
Each diagonal is crossed twice, and every crossing cuts it in the golden ratio.
The app snaps to every crossing, checks your construction exactly, and offers hints one move at a time.
Step by step
Join a corner to the one two steps away.
Keep going, skipping one corner each time (4 times).
What it shows
Measure any diagonal against a piece of it: φ, again and again. A smaller pentagon waits inside, holding a smaller star.
